On March 22, 2019, the Jiangsu Provincial Standardization Work Conference was held at the Jinling Jiangbin International Conference Center in Nanjing. A total of 228 people attended the meeting, including relevant officials from the Provincial Market Supervision Administration, Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, Provincial Department of Agriculture, Department of Finance, Department of Science and Technology, Department of Education, and other departments, as well as leaders from relevant provincial and municipal market supervision and management bureaus, international and domestic standardization technical committees, and major testing and research institutions in the province. The meeting was chaired by Hong Miao, Director of the Standardization Department of the Provincial Administration for Market Regulation.

Director Zhu Qinhu of the Provincial Administration for Market Regulation gave a report on the theme of "Deepening Standardization Reform and Supporting High Quality Development", with Deputy Director Chi Yu of the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology and Deputy Director Zhu Xinhua of the Provincial Department of Agriculture; Vice Mayor Xu Zheng and other leaders of Changzhou City made special speeches.

In addition, Deputy Director Lu Xuelin of the Provincial Department of Justice provided a detailed interpretation of the "Jiangsu Province Standard Supervision and Management Measures".

Promote substantial participation of enterprises, universities, and research institutions in international standardization activities related to counterpart and related technical fields, and actively strive to serve as the head and secretariat of the International Organization for Standardization.

5. Intensify support for the revision of standards in the field of intelligent manufacturing.
