The proposed effective date of this notification is June 30, 2019, and relevant parties can provide feedback within 60 days after the notification.

Previously, 4-tert-butylphenol was included in the 16th consultation list of SVHC on September 6, 2016, but was not added to the SVHC candidate list due to the inability of the European Commission (MSC) to reach a consensus. It is recommended that companies promptly understand the relevant substance information in their products to ensure their smooth launch into the EU market.
