Recently, the European Committee for Standardisation CEN has published its new revision EN 1888-1:2018+A1:2022 based on EN 1888-1:2018 for children's pushchairs. the transition period is until 31 October 2022, i.e. the implementation starts from November 2022 onwards.
The main updated sections are listed below:
Clause 5.2.3 Add small head probe and related test requirements.
Clause 6: Revised chemical test requirements (Clause 6 Chemical hazard).

Clause 8.10.6.2.2: Revised test method for strength of push handles. In the case of adjustable push handles, the test is performed with the push handle in the longest/higher position. The adjustable (e.g., flip) parts of the push handle shall be aligned with the push bar (Clause 8.10.6.2.2 Durability test ‘If the handle is adjustable, position the handle in its longest/highest Adjustable (e.g. pivoting) part of the handle shall be aligned with the handle frame.").
Clause 10.2.9: Requirements for large applicable weight labelling have been revised. (Clause 10.2.9 Maximum weight label requirements)
