On 28th April, Franck LEBEUGLE, Director of the Standard Setting Department of AFNOR, French representative of ISO/TMB, and Li Yubing, Deputy Director of the Department of Standards and Innovation Management of the State Administration for Market Supervision and Administration (SAMSA), came to visit EVERKE Testing and Certification Co. (hereinafter referred to as: EVERKE) to investigate and research on the international standardisation work and the cooperation between China and France on ISO/TC 310. Mr Sun Hubing, Deputy Director of Jiangsu Market Supervision Bureau, Mr Gu Yuqi, Director of Suzhou Market Supervision Bureau, Mr Zhou Jichun, Vice Mayor of Kunshan Municipal People's Government and Mr Chen Guoping, Director of Kunshan Municipal Market Supervision Bureau, and other related leaders participated in the survey, accompanied by the relevant leaders of eqo.

Mr. Franck and Mr. Li visited the mechanical physics, textile, microbiology and chemistry laboratories of eqo, the consumer experience simulation test site for children's carts, the automotive simulation crash laboratory, and watched the simulation crash test of high-speed dolly on-site.

Mr. Zhu Yunlong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of eqo introduced to the guests that EVERKE, as the convener of the ISO/TC 310 International Standard Working Group, has taken the lead in the formulation of some international standards, and that EVERKE Children's Products Laboratory has been the designated laboratory for the validation of the ISO 31110 standard, and that eqo is the only laboratory in China that meets the requirements of China, Europe, America, Japan, Canada and Australia. It is also the national ‘Industrial Product Quality Control and Technology Evaluation Laboratory’ and the ‘Product Defect Analysis Laboratory’ of Jiangsu Province, and the automobile simulated collision laboratory has the most advanced automobile simulated collision equipments, and it is the only one in China that meets the standards of child safety seats in China, Europe, the United States, Japan, Canada, Australia and other countries.

In the subsequent forum, Mr Zhu analysed in detail the recalls of children's products in Europe, the United States and China in recent years, reviewed the results of the cooperation between China and France in the field of children's products standard-setting since 2017, and introduced the recent work and future plans of ISO/TC 310.

Franck highly affirmed and praised eqo's professional equipments, testing technology capability and standard research ability.

Li Yubing, Deputy Director of the Department of Standards and Innovation Management of the State Administration of Market Supervision, and Sun Hubing, Deputy Director of the Jiangsu Provincial Market Supervision Bureau, fully affirmed the professionalism and technical capabilities of eqo's laboratory in the field of children's products, as well as the effectiveness of leading and participating in domestic and international standardisation in the field of children's products.

As the convening unit of ISO/TC 310/WG1 and ISO/TC 310/WG3, eqo will continue to focus on standards and technological innovation, and continuously improve its scientific and technological R&D capability and technical level. It will adhere to the integration of specialisation, integrate internal and external resources, actively participate in the international standardisation work, and contribute to the development of the international standardisation cause.
