As a technical unit directly under Guangzhou Customs, Guangzhou Customs Technical Centre undertakes the inspection and technical support work for import and export of foodstuffs, cosmetics, consumer goods, children's products, electromechanical equipments and bulk resource commodities in Guangdong Province, as well as the technical support work for entry-exit sanitary and quarantine, and entry-exit animal and plant and their products inspection and quarantine.

Guangzhou Customs Technology Centre has strong technical strength and professional capability. Especially in the areas of food hygiene, basic raw materials, chemical testing, etc., it also provides relevant experience for YUVAD to develop related testing business in the future.

Guangzhou Customs Centre is also the domestic technical counterpart of ISO/TC310 and the secretariat of the National Technical Working Group for Standardization of Infant and Children's Products. The on-site visit to Guangzhou Customs Centre and the seminar further deepened the understanding between the two sides, which is of great significance for the future cooperation in the field of testing and the cooperation of international and domestic standardisation in the field of children's products.
