In order to further improve the ability and level of China's participation in international standardisation activities for childcare products and give full play to the role of experts as think-tank leaders in industrial development, according to the requirements of the relevant national management methods for international standardisation activities, the domestic technical counterparts of ISO/TC310 have decided to set up a group of Domestic Technical Counterpart Working Expert Group (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Technical Expert Group’). ‘). And on 23 March 2023, the inaugural meeting and working seminar of the ISO/TC 310 Domestic Technical Counterpart Working Expert Group was held in Guangzhou.

The meeting was attended by relevant leaders of Guangdong Market Supervision Bureau, leaders of Guangzhou Customs Technology Centre and experts of ISO/TC310 registered experts and technical experts group.

Mr Zhu Yunlong, Chairman of EQO and Mr Lei Zaiming, General Manager of EQO, attended the meeting as ISO/TC310 rotating chairman, technical expert group leader, and ISO/TC310 registered expert and technical expert group expert respectively.

The meeting was chaired by Liu Chonghua, an expert of the Technical Expert Group and Deputy Director of Guangzhou Customs Technology Centre. Dr. Zhu Yunlong, the leader of the Technical Expert Group, issued the appointment letter to all the experts of the Technical Expert Group and presided over the deliberation of the management procedure of ISO/TC 310 Technical Counterpart Expert Group; and all the experts deliberated on the working procedure of the Technical Counterpart Expert Group and the management procedure of the Technical Counterpart Expert Group.

In the future, as the convenor of ISO/TC 310 WG1/WG3, Eqo will actively lead the global experts to formulate the relevant international standards for childcare products, and make its own contribution to the early establishment of a perfect international standard system for childcare products.
