On May 13th, 2025, the “CCC Certification of Child Restraint Systems for Motor Vehicles and Implementation Rules” was successfully held in Hangzhou Zhonghao International Hotel, hosted by China Certification Center for Automotive Products (hereinafter referred to as CCAP) and co-sponsored by EVA Testing & Certification (hereinafter referred to as EVA). The meeting attracted more than 100 representatives from child safety seat R&D, production, sales and related certification service enterprises from all over the country to discuss the new industry regulations and global trends, and help enterprises grasp the first opportunity to empower children's travel safety.
At the beginning of the meeting, CCAP Deputy Chief Engineer Wu Xiangliang delivered an opening speech. Mr. Wu emphasized the key significance of the new CCC certification standard to regulate the market of child passenger restraint systems and enhance the safety performance of products, and stressed the need for enterprises to be guided by the standard, strengthen product quality control, and build a solid barrier for children's safety in cars.
Mr. Zou Yu, Sales Director of EVERKE, delivered a speech, in which Mr. Zou said that this conference is a high-quality platform for the industry to communicate and progress together, and that EVERKE would like to join hands with the industry colleagues to help enterprises efficiently open domestic and international markets through the one-stop testing and certification service.
During the meeting, Mr. Li Shicheng, Project Manager of Tianjin Safety Components of China Automotive Research Institute (CAARI), made an in-depth interpretation of the new standard GB27887-2024 “Restraint Systems for Motor Vehicle Child Occupants”. From the technical details, test methods, safety performance and other dimensions, he analyzed the revision points of the new standard and the differences between the old and new standards, which provided a clear technical path for enterprises to upgrade their products.
Mr. Zhang Lei, CCAP project leader, focused on the certification standards for child passenger restraint systems in motor vehicles, the requirements for the revision of the implementation rules, the application process for CCC certification, and the precautions to be taken. He focused on the optimization of the certification process, updating the document requirements and other key contents to help enterprises effectively deal with the compliance challenges.
Mr. Lan Zhonglin, senior inspector of CCAP, explained the requirements and concerns of CCC factory inspection. From the audit basis, production consistency management to the factory quality assurance capability, a comprehensive analysis of the factory inspection links to help enterprises improve internal management and enhance product quality and stability.
Mr. Raymond Kohlberg, Global Technical Director of HCS Netherlands, shared the core points of HCS IA and COP audits.
Mr. Zhang Dongmu, Deputy General Manager of HCS Holland China, analyzed the change of R129 regulation and insight into the international certification trend.
Mr. Wang Peng, Senior Project Engineer of TÜV SUD, shared the business opportunities and process of child seat certification in Brazil, which opens up new horizons for enterprises to expand the international market.
Mr. Long Haihua, Senior Manager of Yike Simulated Crash Laboratory, analyzed the latest development of ADAC and Australian standards. The multi-dimensional presentation of international market access information helps enterprises to enhance global competitiveness.
