Announcement of the State Administration for Market Regulation on Optimizing the Compulsory Product Certification Catalogue
In order to further deepen the reform of the compulsory product certification system, the State Administration for Market Regulation (CNCA) has merged and optimized some product categories in the catalogue according to the adjustment of the previous compulsory product certification catalogue and on the basis of not changing the scope of implementation of compulsory product certification. The optimized compulsory product certification catalogue has a total of 103 products in 17 categories, which are hereby announced.
In order to facilitate all relevant parties to accurately define the scope of the compulsory product certification catalogue, the State Administration for Market Regulation (CNCA) has revised the Description and Definition Table of the Compulsory Product Certification Catalogue (see annex) and published it together. The announcement of the CNCA on the issuance of the description and definition table of the compulsory product certification catalogue (CNCA Announcement No. 45 of 2014) shall be repealed at the same time.
